Thursday Rada To Tackle Anti-Crisis Measures For Agro-Industrial Complex

The Verkhovna Rada at its Thursday session meeting is dealing with anti-crisis measures for the agro-industrial complex, reads the parliament agenda.

In particular, the parliament plans to view draft laws Nos. 3353 and 3353-2 on amending some laws to avert negative impact of the crisis on the agro-industrial complex.

The agenda also contains draft law No. 3344 on measures of social protection of population from consequences of the global credit crunch, as well as on averting the financial crisis affect on development of the construction industry.

The Rada also plans to consider draft law on making amendments to the Law On State Defense Orders.

At 12:30 a.m. the parliament is hearing to High Justice Council members to swear in and then to proceed to the issue of electing and dismissing judges.

Apart from this, the agenda includes a bill on anti-crisis measures for the automobile-building industry.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, deputy chairperson of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction at the Verkhovna Rada Andrii Portnov supposed that on Thursday, December 11, the Rada may consider the question of reshuffling the Cabinet of Ministers staff and on replacement of the Antimonopoly Committee and the State Property Fund leadership.
